The Scranton Zoo is run by the Genesis Wildlife Sanctuary, a non-profit organization started to rescue exotic and endangered animals. It costs approximately $150,000 a year to run the facility.

However, it isn’t nearly enough. The Zoo is expensive to run but very much worth the effort and time especially after just one look at the lovable animals.
